About Me
My Background
Hello math person (Yes, everyone is a math person, including you). My name is David Pastrana, I have been tutoring and teaching math for the past 20 years. . I believe....actually I know everyone can learn math with the right tools and support. While I have a vast amount of subject knowledge, I have been told that my greatest quality as a tutor is patience.
My Expertise
I have an undergraduate degree in math and two graduate degrees; one in higher education and math education I can tutor all math and statistics in k-12 and college (undergraduate courses). I have enjoyed working with students of every age, educational stage and background. I have 20 years of experience and two tutoring certification from the College Reading and Learning Association.
Personalized Lessons
I am able to tutor both one-to-one and small groups. Distance lessons are available through zoom, google hangouts meet.
